Once upon a time I too was a bride on a budget, so I 100% understand that some things take more priority over others. You want to get your hair & makeup done but just can't quite figure out how you're going to afford to hire a beauty vendor. Here are a few tips on how you CAN hire the beauty vendor you want.
SET A BUDGET IN MOTION
Like anything else, when you really want something, what do you do? You save for it. Depending on how long your engagement is, every month or so, set aside a little extra than you usually would. Trust me, it's worth it!
BOOK AHEAD OF TIME
Most of my brides tend to book 8 - 12 months in advance and get to take advantage of the current years prices. All of my 2016 brides who booked in 2015, received 2015 pricing.
LET YOUR BRIDAL PARTY PAY FOR THEMSELVES
I know, it's not exactly an ideal situation since most brides like to gift beauty services to their party. However, most bridesmaids understand that being in a wedding comes with some costs and are probably expecting to pay for beauty services as well as other things such as their dress, shoes, accessories, etc. Still doesn't feel right to ask them to pay for themselves? Perhaps gift makeup services and give them the option to pay for hair services. Doing this can potentially cut costs by 30 to 50 percent!
